I never really feel afraid when I'm playing RE4, and the remake isn't scaring me either, but it isn't necessarily supposed to. Dead Space is 'Resident Evil 4 done right'. I'd say they're two very different games and the people who prefer DS probably like that it feels a bit more survival horror, while RE4 fans like being in a horror action flick.ĭS is claustrophobic, Lovecraftian cosmic horror, while RE4 is a horror action flick like Aliens.
